Our History
The core group of people comprising Tri-State Fellowship began in 1984 in an effort to seek a different expression for a church in this community—one that emphasized the reality of relationship with Christ and other believers, beyond mere traditional forms of expression. In October 1987 the church formed an affiliation with the Evangelical Free Church of America.
Throughout the first 11 years, the church family met in rented facilities such as hotels and a middle school. Since 1996, the church has occupied a multi-purpose facility on a large country site just west of I-81 on Route 58 in Hagerstown, Maryland. The original construction has been expanded to a structure of 30,000 square feet. Our multi-purpose room seats over 800, and is used for worship, family and youth activities, dinners, and dramatic productions.
God has blessed our fellowship through numeric growth, but more significantly through the pleasure of seeing generations of followers of Christ discipled to continue as a witness to His glory both near and far. |
